Here at The Community Place we know that modern family life is very diverse. We also know that general life and day to day living places many more demands and pressures on the family.
We are committed to promoting family resilience by offering a range of accessible, welcoming and inclusive groups, workshops and services.
These include:
• Playgroups
• Parent Effectiveness Training
We have found that by providing opportunities to meet with other local families, people have developed their own social support networks. We believe that while professional help can be very beneficial, what really sustains families is developing a web of relationships with friends, colleagues, schools and neighbors, as it takes the whole village to raise a child.
